The SLD-S flies even further!!!!!

The 145SLD-S sports the best casting capabilities on the Tide-Minnow series. Its heavy body allows for extra-long casting distance and more dynamic behavior in the water.  This lure is most productive in tough conditions such as strong headwinds and big swells, in other words, conditions typical for targeting Blackfin Seabass.  With this lure, the angler will also be able to access sand-bars and off-shore areas which would otherwise be unreachable with the floating model.  It comes into its own anytime one requires great casting distances, such as when seeking big surf species like Kingfish.

 

 

  • Casting Performance
  • Adding a fixed weight in the belly has resulted in a more stable flight posture, thereby allowing a more accurate cast. The net effect is an improvement in both the casting distance and accuracy.
  • Action Response
  • The lure’s increased weight results in toned-down action. These characteristics make it easier to control in rough conditions and high waves.
  • Range Control
  • The sinking model has made it possible to control the lure’s depth by counting time. This allows for a more technical approach when the angler wants to trace a different depth.
